The managed grassland and woodlands at the croft provide a number of biodiverse habitats for a variety of wildlife.

Creating a small area of birch woodland on our croft has been a rewarding experience.

Early in 2017 we were looking to diversify the croft and make practical use of a sloping site with restricted height availability, in addition to providing a food crop. So our venture into orchard planting started.
